FiShing !!!!

I sat on the bank of the fish pond peering through the thickening darkness of the red and white float attached to my fishing line. I saw the float jerks suddenly and instinctively pulled up the fishing rod. Nothing! The line felt empty. I must be imaging things.
It was hopeless. I had to admit it was pointless waiting there. So, I picked up my tools and rod and headed somewhere else, finding a nice fishing spot in the forest. I realized that it was certainly dark while walking under the shades of tall trees. So I began to thread carefully along what I reasoned to be right path. The going was not easy, hordes of mosquitoes seemed to suddenly from nowhere flew to attack me!! Itchy...

I found a SPOT! It wasn't too deep and it was sandy. So i rolled up my pants and pierced my bare feet into the sandy water path. I threw the line into the water and WAIT. I'm oblivious to my surroundings. If there was water snake or leeches, I won't even bother to look at them. What came first in my mind was to catch some big fish big enough to compare with my grandpa's. I looked back and saw my grandpa on the other side, tying his bait. While waiting, I could hear all sorts of sounds coming from around me. Shrills, shrieks and croaks filled the evening air. I recognized the sounds of the frogs by the fish-pond, the chirping of crickets and the occasional clicking of the gecko lizard, but for the other sounds, I had no idea what made them.

Suddenly, I heard something, SOMETHING was behind me!! I slowly turn my head, I saw a GHOST's FACE!! Ah, It was an OWL. He seems waiting for me:-Feed him with some small fish I had. I threw some, he Grabbed and flew up to the branches. Enjoying his effortless meal.

'Phiwss', Finally I caught one! It was a 3kg big fish and i learnt it was 'mixed-breed Kam Fong fish! I'm not sure that I pronounced it right.

It was 7.30pm, we watched the sun slowly sink into the forests on the opposite site. However the sky remained reddish even though the sun could no longer be seen. We started packing.
Ah yes, I felt sad I have to back to REALITY. I'm a City Boy. Loaded with homework up to the neck. Especially those BIO-notes drove me crazy! I believe En. Shamsul must has his own reason for giving such burdening homework. Oh well, I'm glad I am going to be among friends once more and this is probably going to be my last year.

The night arrived.
The moon and the stars make their appearance. I looked up to the sky. Millions of there twinkling jewels can be seen in the black sky. How wonderful! Life in the forms nature gives to us is BEAUTIFUL. We just have to be conscious enough to be aware of it!
